Spectators at Saturday's league match between the Canutillo Eagles (Canutillo, TX) and the visiting San Elizario Eagles (San Elizario, TX), witnessed Canutillo's softball squad prevail over San Elizario by a count of 15-1.

The Eagles now sport a 17-6 record. They play next when they travel to Riverside for a 4A Region I District 2 match on Tuesday, April 5. Canutillo will meet a Rangers squad coming off a 16-5 league win over Del Valle (El Paso, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 14-13.
