Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the O'Connor Panthers (Helotes, TX) and the host Holmes Huskies (San Antonio, TX), saw O'Connor's basketball squad hold off Holmes by a score of 50-48.

With the victory, O'Connor improves its record to 11-17 on the campaign.

Next up, the Huskies play the Taft Raiders (San Antonio, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 27 challenge, on Wednesday, February 16. Holmes will attempt to improve on its 13-17 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 28-5 record after their 67-55 league loss to Clark (San Antonio, TX).
