Oregon High School Basketball - Portland Christian ripped by Rainier
January 19, 2017: Portland, OR 97230 The Rainier Columbians basketball team scored 68 points and held the host Portland Christian Royals to 44 in the Columbians league triumph on Thursday.
The Columbians now sport a 16-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Portland Adventist Academy for a 3A Lewis & Clark contest on Saturday, January 21. Rainier will meet a Cougars team coming off a 59-17 league win over Oregon Episcopal (Portland, OR). The Cougars record now stands at 12-3.
The Royals (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against Catlin Gabel (Portland, OR). The Eagles enter the 3A Lewis & Clark contest with a 3-10 record. In their last contest, Catlin Gabel was routed by De La Salle North Catholic (Portland, OR), 40-36, in a league contest.
