Louisiana High School Basketball - Ruston edges Arcadia
January 4, 2011: Ruston, LA 71270 The Ruston Bearcats (Ruston, LA) basketball nipped the visiting Arcadia Hornets (Arcadia, LA), 62-60 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Bearcats (17-3) will now prepare for their test against Neville (Monroe, LA). The Tigers go into the 4A District 3 test with a 6-8 record. In their last test, Neville was tipped by Southwood (Shreveport, LA), 54-24, in a non-league test.
The Hornets now own a 13-5 record. They take the field next when they host Ringgold for a 1A District 1 contest on Friday, January 7.
