Raritan Rockets (Hazlet, NJ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Lacey Township Lions (Lanoka Harbor, NJ), 50-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Raritan upgrades its record to 11-10 on the season. The Rockets travel to Red Bank Regional (Little Silver, NJ) to clash with the Bucs in a Shore A - Central bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Bucs go into the bout with a record of 8-9.

Next up, the Lions clash with the Donovan Catholic Griffins (Toms River, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 2. Lacey Township will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record. The Griffins go into the bout with a 15-3 record after their 50-37 league win over Pinelands Regional (Tuckerton, NJ).
