Central Knights (Providence, RI) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Cranston East Thunderbolts (Cranston, RI), 85-62 in a league bout.

With the victory, Central upgrades its record to 13-5 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Cranston West (Cranston, RI) to play the Falcons in a Division I - West bout on Friday, February 11. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 17-3. Cranston West won 66-58 in their recent league bout against Classical (Providence, RI)

Next up, the Thunderbolts play the North Kingstown Skippers (North Kingstown, RI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 8. Cranston East will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Skippers come into the bout with a 12-6 record after their 64-62 league loss to South Kingstown (Wakefield, RI).
