Saginaw Trojans (Saginaw, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the host Heritage Hawks (Saginaw, MI), 69-65 in a league bout.

With the win, Saginaw upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Trojans travel to Pontiac Central (Pontiac, MI) to play the Chiefs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 16. The Chiefs go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Pontiac Central 0-0 in their recent non-league bout against Avondale (Auburn Hills, MI)

Next up, the Hawks play the Mt. Pleasant Oilers (Mt. Pleasant, MI) in a Saginaw Valley bout, on Thursday, December 18. Heritage will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
