The Midland Rebels basketball team scored 47 points and held the host Holden Rockets to 40 in the Rebels non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Rebels now sport a 10-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Captain Shreve for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29. Midland will meet a Gators team coming off a 64-56 non-league loss to Lafayette (Lafayette, LA). The Gators record now stands at 6-9.

The Rockets (9-10) will now prepare for their contest against Gueydan (Gueydan, LA). The Bears enter the non-league contest with a 6-7 record. In their last contest, Gueydan was nudged by Pope John Paul II (Slidell, LA), 65-42, in a non-league contest.
