The Chatham Cavaliers basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Patrick County Cougars to 60 in the Cavaliers non-league triumph on Monday.

The Cavaliers now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bassett for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 7. Chatham will battle a Bengals team coming off a 67-56 non-league win over Salem (Salem, VA). The Bengals record now stands at 2-1.

The Cougars (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Floyd County (Floyd, VA). The Buffaloes enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Floyd County nudged Auburn (Riner, VA), 62-53, in a non-league contest.
