The Petersburg Crimson Wave basketball team scored 82 points and held the visiting Clover Hill Cavaliers to 35 in the Crimson Wave non-league triumph on Friday.

The Crimson Wave now sport a 10-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Meadowbrook for a AAA Central contest on Tuesday, January 3. Petersburg will meet a Monarchs team coming off a 58-57 non-league win over St. Christopher's (Richmond, VA). The Monarchs record now stands at 2-4.

The Cavaliers (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Wythe (Richmond, VA). The Bulldogs enter the AAA Dominion contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Wythe was routed by Armstrong (Richmond, VA), 72-55, in a non-league contest.
