The Southwood Knights routed the visiting Eastern Comets basketball team by a final score of 81-53 in Saturday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Knights face the Manchester Squires (North Manchester, IN) in a Three Rivers game, on Friday, December 15. Southwood will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Squires enter the game with a 0-4 record after their 59-32 non-league loss to Huntington North (Huntington, IN).

With the defeat, Eastern moves to 3-1 on the year. The Comets travel to Sheridan (Sheridan, IN) to face the Blackhawks in a Hoosier Heartland - East game on Friday, December 15.
