Montebello Oilers (Montebello, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Hesperia Scorpions (Hesperia, CA), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Oilers now own a 4-11 record. They take the field next when they host Mark Keppel for a Almont challenge on Tuesday, April 17. Montebello will battle a Aztecs squad coming off a 21-0 league loss to Alhambra (Alhambra, CA). The Aztecs record now stands at 3-6.

With the loss, Hesperia falls to 5-15 on the campaign. The Scorpions travel to Serrano (Phelan, CA) to battle the Diamondbacks in a Mojave River challenge on Wednesday, April 18. The Diamondbacks enter the challenge with a record of 3-12. Serrano won 17-7 in their recent league challenge against Burroughs (Ridgecrest, CA)
