December 21, 2010: Plainfield, IL 60544 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Plainfield Central Wildcats (Plainfield, IL) and the visiting Marmion Academy Cadets (Aurora, IL), saw Plainfield Central's basketball squad knock off Marmion Academy by a score of 68-55.
With the victory, Plainfield Central improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Oswego East (Oswego, IL) to battle the Wolves in a SouthWest Prairie challenge on Friday, January 7. The Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 6-3. Oswego East lost 68-53 in their recent non-league challenge against Brother Rice (Chicago, IL)
The Cadets (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Brooks College Prep (Chicago, IL). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Brooks College Prep beat Immaculate Conception (Elmhurst, IL), 73-48, in a non-league contest.
