Strong Vincent Colonels (Erie, PA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Grove City Eagles (Grove City, PA), 54-41 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Strong Vincent upgrades its record to 16-7 on the campaign. The Colonels travel to Girard (Girard, PA) to play the Yellowjackets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 23. The Yellowjackets come into the bout with a record of 19-3. Girard won 51-27 in their recent league bout against Fort LeBoeuf (Waterford, PA)
