October 26, 2012: Jewett, TX 75846 In Friday's league match, the visiting Mart Panthers football squad scored a big 47-7 victory over the Leon Cougars.
In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Valley Mills Eagles (Valley Mills, TX) in a 1A-1 Region III District 12 match, on Friday, November 2. Mart will attempt to move on its 6-2 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 4-4 record after their 62-0 league loss to Bosqueville (Waco, TX).
The Cougars (5-4) will now prepare for their match against Axtell (Axtell, TX). The Longhorns enter the 1A-1 Region III District 12 match with a 3-5 record. In their last match, Axtell was crushed by Mart (Mart, TX), 56-0, in a league match.
