The Apache Junction Prospectors basketball team (Apache Junction, AZ), was overwhelmed 77-42 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Canyon State Academy Rams (Queen Creek, AZ)

The Rams now possess a 21-6 record. They play next when they travel to Ray for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 28.

The Prospectors (2-18) will now prepare for their battle against Tempe (Tempe, AZ). The Buffaloes come into the II Section III outing with a 18-7 record. In their last outing, Tempe smashed Higley (Gilbert, AZ), 72-61, in a league outing.
