The East Rutherford Cavaliers (Forest City, NC) basketball knocked off the host R-S Central Hilltoppers (Rutherfordton, NC), 65-52 in Friday's league test.

The Cavaliers (12-2) will now prepare for their test against South Point (Belmont, NC). The Red Raiders go into the Southwestern 2A test with a 0-13 record.

The Hilltoppers now own a 6-9 record. They play next when they host South Point for a Southwestern 2A test on Friday, January 12.
