New York High School Volleyball - Nichols tips Olmsted

September 14, 2018: Buffalo, NY 14216

The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Nichols Vikings (Buffalo, NY) and the visiting Olmsted Owls (Buffalo, NY), saw Nichols's volleyball squad nip Olmsted by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Nichols upgrades its record to 3-1 on the year. The Vikings travel to St. Mary's (Lancaster, NY) to play the Lancers in a Monsignor Martin bout on Tuesday, September 18. The Lancers go into the bout with a record of 13-1. St. Mary's won 3-2 in their recent non-league bout against Our Lady of Mercy (Rochester, NY)

The Owls now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Tonawanda for a non-league match on Saturday, September 15. Olmsted will battle a Lumberjacks squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Niagara Falls (Niagara Falls, NY). The Lumberjacks record now stands at 2-2.
