The West Milford Highlanders basketball team scored 69 points and held the host Morris Catholic Crusaders to 55 in the Highlanders non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Highlanders now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lakeland Regional for a Big North - Independence contest on Saturday, January 7.

The Crusaders (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Madison (Madison, NJ). The Dodgers enter the Northwest Jersey - Independence contest with a 5-0 record. In their last contest, Madison ran past Whippany Park (Whippany, NJ), 64-63, in a non-league contest.
