Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Forney Jackrabbits (Forney, TX) and the visiting Garland Owls (Garland, TX), saw Forney's basketball squad hold off Garland by a tally of 41-36.

With the victory, Forney improves its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Jackrabbits host Frisco (Frisco, TX) to play the Raccoons in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 9. The Raccoons come into the challenge with a record of 2-5.

Next up, the Owls play the Terrell Tigers (Terrell, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 9. Garland will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 2-6 record after their 56-48 non-league loss to Ranchview (Irving, TX).
