Pennsylvania High School Football - William Penn Charter knocked off by Episcopal Academy
October 12, 2012: Newtown Square, PA 19066 Episcopal Academy Churchmen (Newtown Square, PA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting William Penn Charter Quakers (Philadelphia, PA), 28-7 in a league test.
With the triumph, Episcopal Academy improves its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Churchmen host Springside Chestnut Hill Academy (Philadelphia, PA) to battle the Blue Devils in a Inter-Academic test on Friday, October 19. The Blue Devils come into the test with a record of 1-5. Springside Chestnut Hill Academy lost 10-9 in their recent league test against Haverford School (Haverford, PA)
With the loss, William Penn Charter drops to 3-2 on the campaign. The Quakers host Malvern Prep (Malvern, PA) to battle the Friars in a Inter-Academic test on Friday, October 19. The Friars come into the test with a record of 4-2. Malvern Prep won 24-7 in their recent league test against Germantown Academy (Fort Washington, PA)
