Florida High School Basketball - Countryside Christian can't hold off Ocala Christian
December 11, 2012: Ocala, FL 34471 The Ocala Christian Crusaders basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the visiting Countryside Christian Minutemen to 41 in the Crusaders league victory on Tuesday.
The Crusaders now sport a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Cornerstone Academy for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 13. Ocala Christian will meet a Cougars team coming off a 77-61 league loss to First Academy (Leesburg, FL). The Cougars record now stands at 0-3.
The Minutemen (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Meadowbrook Academy (Ocala, FL). The Mustangs come into the 2A District 4 contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Meadowbrook Academy was nudged by City of Life Christian Academy (Kissimmee, FL), 51-39, in a non-league contest.
