Riverwood Raiders (Atlanta, GA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Forsyth Central Bulldogs (Cumming, GA), 50-42 in a league bout.

With the victory, Riverwood upgrades its record to 14-6 on the campaign. The Raiders host Sprayberry (Marietta, GA) to play the Yellowjackets in a AAAAA Region 7B bout on Tuesday, January 20. The Yellowjackets come into the bout with a record of 8-10.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Chattahoochee Cougars (Alpharetta, GA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 17. Forsyth Central will attempt to upgrade on its 5-14 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 10-7 record after their 61-58 league win over Johns Creek (Johns Creek, GA).
