December 30, 2015: Oakhurst, NJ 07755 The Ocean Township Spartans (Oakhurst, NJ) basketball felled the visiting Irvington Blue Knights (Irvington, NJ), 66-55 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Spartans (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Wall Township (Wall, NJ). The Crimson Knights go into the Shore B - North test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, Wall Township was beaten by Toms River South (Toms River, NJ), 37-35, in a non-league test.
The Blue Knights now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Newark Tech for a Super Essex - American test on Thursday, January 7. Irvington will encounter a squad coming off a 73-65 non-league win over Solebury (New Hope, PA). The record now stands at 1-4.
