The Overton Eagles basketball team scored 46 points and held the host Gibbon Buffaloes to 44 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Eagles now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Amherst for a non-league contest on Friday, January 4. Overton will meet a Broncos team coming off a 92-52 non-league loss to Kearney Catholic (Kearney, NE). The Broncos record now stands at 6-3.
