Arkansas High School Basketball - Prescott can't hold off Lafayette County
December 5, 2017: Stamps, AR 71860 The Lafayette County Cougars basketball team scored 46 points and restricted the visiting Prescott Curley Wolves to 40 in the Cougars non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Cougars now sport a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Nevada for a non-league bout on Friday, December 8. Lafayette County will play a Blue Jays squad coming off a 67-66 non-league win over Strong (Strong, AR). The Blue Jays record now stands at 8-2.
Next up, the Curley Wolves play the Benton Panthers (Benton, AR) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. Prescott will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 47-43 non-league loss to Catholic (Little Rock, AR).
