October 6, 2006: Meridian, MS 39305 The Oak Grove Warriors football squad scored 27 points and limited the host Meridian Wildcats to 7 in the Warriors league victory on Friday.
With the victory, Oak Grove upgrades its record to 6-1 on the year. The Warriors host Forest Hill (Jackson, MS) to battle the Rebels in a 5A Region 3 battle on Friday, October 13. The Rebels come into the battle with a record of 1-6. Forest Hill lost 35-8 in their recent league outing against Wingfield (Jackson, MS)
With the defeat, Meridian moves to 4-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Brandon (Brandon, MS) to confront the Bulldogs in a 5A Region 3 outing on Friday, October 13. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a record of 4-3. Brandon won 38-6 in their recent league outing against Natchez (Natchez, MS)
