Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Borden Braves (Borden, IN) and the visiting Springs Valley Blackhawks (French Lick, IN), saw Borden's basketball squad hold off Springs Valley by a tally of 33-31.

With the victory, Borden improves its record to 11-8 on the campaign. The Braves host Clarksville (Clarksville, IN) to confront the Generals in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 20. The Generals come into the challenge with a record of 2-18.

The Blackhawks now own a 5-15 record. They play next when they host Washington Catholic for a non-league test on Friday, February 20.
