Florida High School Basketball - Miami crushes LaSalle
January 20, 2011: Miami, FL 33135 Miami Stingarees (Miami, FL) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting LaSalle Royal Lions (Miami, FL), 62-25 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Miami upgrades its record to 14-6 on the campaign. The Stingarees travel to Archbishop McCarthy (Fort Lauderdale, FL) to play the Mavericks in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 22. The Mavericks come into the bout with a record of 19-3. Archbishop McCarthy won 63-49 in their recent non-league bout against American Heritage (Plantation, FL)
Next up, the Royal Lions play the St. Brendan Sabres (Miami, FL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 24. LaSalle will attempt to upgrade on its 6-11 season record. The Sabres come into the bout with a 9-11 record after their 73-62 non-league loss to Centennial (Port St. Lucie, FL).
