The Tahlequah Tigers basketball team scored 30 points and held the visiting Coweta Tigers to 26 in the Tigers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Tigers now sport a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bishop Kelley for a Metro Lakes contest on Friday, January 28. Tahlequah will confront a Comets team coming off a 45-39 league loss to Claremore (Claremore, OK). The Comets record now stands at 8-8.

The Tigers (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Fort Gibson (Fort Gibson, OK). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 16-0 record. In their last contest, Fort Gibson nudged Inola (Inola, OK), 57-27, in a non-league contest.
