Louisiana High School Basketball - LaGrange edges Northside
January 3, 2018: Lafayette, LA 70501 The LaGrange Grangers (LaGrange, GA) basketball nipped the host Northside Vikings (Lafayette, LA), 53-52 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Grangers (11-4) will now prepare for their test against Cedartown (Cedartown, GA). The Bulldogs go into the AAAA Region 5 test with a 6-6 record. In their last test, Cedartown was tipped by Cartersville (Cartersville, GA), 60-34, in a league test.
The Vikings now own a 11-9 record. They play next when they host Breaux Bridge for a non-league test on Friday, January 5. Northside will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 60-54 non-league win over Port Allen (Port Allen, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 15-5.
