March 30, 2012: Carrollton, TX 75010 In Friday's league outing, the host Hebron Hawks softball team scored a close 3-2 win over the Flower Mound Jaguars.
Coming up next, the Hawks battle the Plano Wildcats (Plano, TX) in a 5A Region I District 8 outing, on Tuesday, April 3. Hebron will attempt to upgrade on its 18-7 season record.
The Jaguars (5-5) will now prepare for their outing against Plano (Plano, TX). The Wildcats enter the 5A Region I District 8 outing with a 16-3 record.

Hebron makes the most of three hits in 3-2 victory over Flower Mound
The Hebron Hawks and the Flower Mound Jaguars each put runners on the bags on Friday, but it was Hebron Hawks that brought more home, pulling out a 3-2 win at Hebron High School.
Flower Mound got five hits compared with just three for Hebron, but the Jaguars stranded four.
Hebron scored their three runs in the third. Amanda Sloper led off the inning with a walk followed by a fielder's choice to short by Erin Payne that saw
both runners safe at their respective bases.
Then an RBI double by Chelsea Herndon over the center fielder's head scored Sloper and Payne. Herndon advanced to third on the errant throw from the center fielder. A sac bunt by by Kylie Johnson scored Herndon and finished the scoring.
The Hawks defense and Heather Stearns staved off Flower Mound as the Jaguars were unable to match Hebron down the stretch.
Herndon, Deja Talton, and Herndon all recorded hits for Hebron.
