Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Portola Tigers (Portola, CA) and the visiting Modoc Braves (Alturas, CA), saw Portola's basketball squad overcome Modoc by a tally of 66-54.

With the victory, Portola improves its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Tigers host Biggs (Biggs, CA) to confront the Wolverines in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 11. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a record of 2-3. Biggs lost 61-53 in their recent non-league challenge against Quincy (Quincy, CA)

Next up, the Braves confront the Quincy Trojans (Quincy, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 11. Modoc will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Trojans come into the contest with a 3-3 record after their 61-53 non-league win over Biggs (Biggs, CA).
