In Friday's non-league game, the Ligonier Valley Rams (Ligonier, PA) football team tipped the visiting Windber Ramblers (Windber, PA), by a final score of 33-26.

The Rams (5-0) will now prepare for their game against Saltsburg (Saltsburg, PA). The Trojans come into the Heritage challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Saltsburg nipped United (Armagh, PA), 14-13, in a league challenge.

The Ramblers now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Conemaugh Township for a Western Pennsylvania [WPAC] challenge on Friday, October 4. Windber will meet a Indians team coming off a 40-6 league win over Blacklick Valley (Nanty Glo, PA). The Indians record now stands at 1-4.
