North Carolina High School Baseball - South Point holds off Olympic
March 7, 2016: Charlotte, NC 28273 Spectators at Monday's non-league battle between the South Point Red Raiders (Belmont, NC) and the host Olympic Trojans (Charlotte, NC), saw South Point's baseball squad beat Olympic by a margin of 6-2.
Coming up next, the Red Raiders play the Clover Blue Eagles (Clover, SC) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, March 9. South Point will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Blue Eagles enter the battle with a 4-1 record after their 3-2 league win over Union County (Union, SC).
The Trojans now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Providence for a Southern Meck 8 4A battle on Tuesday, March 8. Olympic will play a Panthers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 2-0.
