Sedgwick County Cougars (Julesburg, CO) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting South Platte Blue Knights (Big Springs, NE), 60-17 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Sedgwick County upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Cougars host Creek Valley (Chappell, NE) to play the Storm in a non-league bout on Friday, December 19. The Storm go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Creek Valley lost 50-16 in their recent non-league bout against Bayard (Bayard, NE)

Next up, the Blue Knights play the Wauneta-Palisade Broncos (Wauneta, NE) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 19. South Platte will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Broncos go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 72-33 non-league loss to Cambridge (Cambridge, NE).
