Virginia High School Football - Bird gets by Hermitage

November 18, 2016: Richmond, VA 23228

The Bird Skyhawks football squad scored 27 points and restricted the host Hermitage Panthers to 24 in the Skyhawks non-league victory on Friday.

The Skyhawks (11-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Highland Springs (Highland Springs, VA). The Springers come into the non-league challenge with a 11-1 record. In their last challenge, Highland Springs nipped Freeman (Richmond, VA), 58-21, in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers now sport a 10-2 record. They take the field next when they host Bird for a non-league challenge on Friday, November 25. Hermitage will meet a Skyhawks team coming off a 27-24 non-league win over Hermitage (Richmond, VA). The Skyhawks record now stands at 11-1.
