In Monday's league outing, the host Edenton Holmes Aces softball team scored a nice 19-6 win over the First Flight Nighthawks.

Coming up next, the Aces battle the Hertford County Bears (Ahoskie, NC) in a Northeastern Coastal outing, on Friday, May 1. Edenton Holmes will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record.

The Nighthawks (3-7) will now prepare for their outing against Pasquotank (Elizabeth City, NC). The Panthers enter the Northeastern Coastal outing with a 4-5 record. In their last outing, Pasquotank Hertford County (Ahoskie, NC), 0-0, in a league outing.
