The Wando Warriors basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Ashley Ridge to 37 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Friday.

The Warriors now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bishop England for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 5. Wando will confront a Battling Bishops team coming off a 56-31 league win over Burke (Charleston, SC). The Battling Bishops record now stands at 8-3.

The (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Bluffton (Bluffton, SC). The Bobcats enter the AAAA Region VIII contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Bluffton ran past Battery Creek (Beaufort, SC), 33-26, in a non-league contest.
