Texas High School Basketball - Stamford trounces Munday
January 11, 2011: Munday, TX 76371 The Stamford Bulldogs (Stamford, TX) basketball crushed the host Munday Moguls (Munday, TX), 61-27 in Tuesday's league test.
The Bulldogs (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Hamlin (Hamlin, TX). The Pied Pipers go into the non-league test with a 0-0 record.
The Moguls now own a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Haskell for a non-league test on Friday, January 14.
First Quarter
Nick Stanley had 7 points three coming from free throws, Ty McLemore had 6 points, Kyler Kuenstler had 2 points, and Noe Contreras had 2 points coming from free throws. We were 5-8 in free throws
Second Quarter
Nick Stanley had 8 points with four coming from free throws, Ty McLemore and Noe Contreras had 2 points each. We were 4-6 in free throws.
Third Quarter
Noe Contreras had 8 points six coming from two three pointers, Ty McLemore had 4 points, Kyler Kuenstler and Nick Stanley had 2 points each. We shot no free throws this quarter
