Kentucky High School Softball - North Laurel nudges Christian Academy
April 22, 2016: Louisville, KY 40245 North Laurel Jaguars (London, KY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Christian Academy Centurions (Louisville, KY), 5-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Jaguars now own a 12-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Shelby County for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 23. North Laurel will face a Rockets squad coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Henry Clay (Lexington, KY). The Rockets record now stands at 13-5.
With the loss, Christian Academy falls to 6-8 on the campaign. The Centurions host Henry Clay (Lexington, KY) to face the Blue Devils in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 23. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a record of 7-5. Henry Clay lost 4-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Shelby County (Shelbyville, KY)
