Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Benicia Panthers (Benicia, CA) and the host St. Patrick-St. Vincent Bruins (Vallejo, CA), saw Benicia's basketball squad knock off St. Patrick-St. Vincent by a tally of 62-46.

With the victory, Benicia improves its record to 13-4 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Vanden (Fairfield, CA) to play the Vikings in a Solano County challenge on Tuesday, February 3. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 18-2.

Next up, the Bruins play the Salesian College Preparatory Pride (Richmond, CA) in a Tri-County - Rock challenge, on Tuesday, February 3. St. Patrick-St. Vincent will attempt to improve on its 6-17 season record. The Pride come into the challenge with a 21-2 record after their 53-42 league win over Saint Mary's (Albany, CA).
