Maryland High School Basketball - Lackey edges Stone
January 27, 2017: Indian Head, MD 20640 The Lackey Chargers (Indian Head, MD) basketball nipped the visiting Stone Cougars (Waldorf, MD), 55-51 in Friday's league test.
The Chargers (14-2) will now prepare for their test against North Point (Waldorf, MD). The Eagles go into the Southern Maryland test with a 8-9 record. In their last test, North Point was tipped by St. Charles (Waldorf, MD), 71-63, in a league test.
The Cougars now own a 11-5 record. They play next when they host Westlake for a Southern Maryland test on Wednesday, February 1. Stone will encounter a Wolverines squad coming off a 67-55 league win over McDonough (Pomfret, MD). The Wolverines record now stands at 13-4.
