Portsmouth Clippers (Portsmouth, NH) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Merrimack Tomahawks (Merrimack, NH), 71-32 in a league bout.

With the win, Portsmouth upgrades its record to 14-3 on the season. The Clippers travel to Nashua South (Nashua, NH) to clash with the Purple Panthers in a Division I bout on Friday, February 16. The Purple Panthers go into the bout with a record of 6-9. Nashua South won 50-43 in their recent league bout against Winnacunnet (Hampton, NH)

Next up, the Tomahawks clash with the Manchester Central Little Green (Manchester, NH) in a Division I bout, on Tuesday, February 20. Merrimack will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record.
