Charter Oak won, 2-1, in the bottom of the seventh inning on a bases-loaded error by the Ayala second baseman. The Chargers are now 4-4 in the Sierra League and 11-5 overall. Freshman Nick F. Hernandez led off the inning with a double over the center fielders head and two consecutive walks loaded the bases before the walk-off error. Right fielder Jon Reid was 3 for 4 with a run scored and a stolen base. Nick F. Hernandez was 2 for 4, including two doubles, a run scored and an RBI.Third baseman Zo Carrillo also had two hits and a walk. Carrillo (2-0) also picked up the win in relief of starter Mac Lupton. Carrillo pitched four innings, allowing one hit and no runs.
