The Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls tipped the host Concord Spiders basketball team by a final score of 72-70 in Wednesday's league game.

In their next game, the Ragin' Bulls face the Central Cabarrus Vikings (Concord, NC) in a 3A South Piedmont game, on Friday, December 5. Hickory Ridge will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Vikings come into the battle with a 2-2 record after their 62-59 non-league loss to Sun Valley (Monroe, NC).

The Spiders (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against East Rowan (Salisbury, NC). The Mustangs come into the 3A South Piedmont battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, East Rowan edged Central Davidson (Lexington, NC), 69-58, in a non-league battle.
