January 17, 2017: East Moline, IL 61244 The Davenport North Wildcats (Davenport, IA) basketball knocked off the host East Moline United Panthers (East Moline, IL), 65-51 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Wildcats (10-2) will now prepare for their test against Davenport West (Davenport, IA). The Falcons go into the Mississippi test with a 1-11 record. In their last test, Davenport West went down by Bettendorf (Bettendorf, IA), 51-42, in a league test.
The Panthers now own a 13-8 record. They play next when they travel to Moline for a Western Big 6 test on Thursday, January 19. East Moline United will encounter a Maroons squad coming off a 80-57 league loss to Rock Island (Rock Island, IL). The Maroons record now stands at 13-8.
