The Horace Mann Lions volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Packer Collegiate Institute Pelicans to 0 in the Lions non-league victory on Monday.
The Lions now have a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lycee Francais de New York for a PSAA - Western game on Thursday, May 1. Horace Mann will meet a Lynx team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Calhoun (New York, NY). The Lynx record now stands at 2-7.
The Pelicans (7-5) will now prepare for their game against Greater New York Academy (Woodside, NY). The Hawks enter the PSAA - Eastern game with a 0-11 record. In their last game, Greater New York Academy dropped by Brooklyn Friends (Brooklyn, NY), 3-0, in a league game.
