Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Lee-Davis Confederates (Mechanicsville, VA) and the visiting Hanover Hawks (Mechanicsville, VA), saw Lee-Davis's basketball squad hold off Hanover by a tally of 68-62.

With the victory, Lee-Davis improves its record to 5-12 on the campaign. The Confederates travel to Freeman (Richmond, VA) to confront the Rebels in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 5. The Rebels come into the challenge with a record of 15-3. Freeman won 61-41 in their recent league challenge against Deep Run (Glen Allen, VA)

Next up, the Hawks confront the Midlothian Trojans (Midlothian, VA) in a Dominion challenge, on Monday, February 5. Hanover will attempt to improve on its 3-14 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 9-10 record after their 1-0 league loss to Wythe (Richmond, VA).
