North Buncombe Black Hawks (Weaverville, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting T.C. Roberson Rams (Asheville, NC), 70-50 in a league bout.

With the triumph, North Buncombe moves its record to 15-4 on the year. The Black Hawks travel to Polk County (Columbus, NC) to face the Wolverines in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 31. The Wolverines enter the game with a record of 2-15.

With the defeat, T.C. Roberson moves to 6-10 on the year. The Rams travel to Asheville (Asheville, NC) to face the Cougars in a Mountain Athletic 3A/4A game on Monday, January 30. The Cougars enter the game with a record of 6-11. Asheville lost 66-58 in their recent league game against Enka (Enka, NC)
